The Black Halos are Vancouver, Canada’s prime purveyors of punk rock n roll.
Signed by legendary grunge label SUP POP, The Black Halos’ inertia in 1999 was the antithesis, provoking audiences to demand more from rock. Often imitated, their monochrome glam-punk fashion inspired a host of upcoming punk bands to take on such appearances. Accept no substitutes. The Black Halos wrote the book on black and they mean every note they play.
Matched only by their live performances, The Black Halos rock solid songwriting and ’77 spirit have paired them with acclaimed producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden) to create 4 undeniably classic albums.
The Black Halos comeback album “Alive Without Control” for Century Media, enjoyed rave reviews, and Producer Endino promises their latest, “We Are Not Alone”, being released on the new Canadian Label History Music Recordings, to be no exception to the bands relentless focus and enduring intent.
“This is our best Album to date” says Drummer Rob Zgaljic.
Producer Jack Endino also is saying “The Halos have done it again.”
After having enjoyed a 6 week North American Tour with Social Distortion, The Black Halos are now set to release their fourth album “WE ARE NOT ALONE” which is scheduled for Feb. ’08.
The band will embark on a Canadian/American tour before heading to Europe this spring, where German label PEOPLE LIKE YOU are paving the way, having now released the entire Black Halos Catalogue.
